About a year or so ago I could never understand why someone would buy a stand alone Blu-Ray player for 300-400 dollars and not just a PS3 instead. I do understand the PS3 doesn’t always give you the best picture. But you get a Blu-ray player and a video game system for the same price. But now the price of stand alone blu-ray players has come way down. The current price for this one is around 165.00 on Amazon. The system offers netcast for youtube and NetFlix. Full HD 1080p output via HDMI with Cinema mode at 24 or 60 frames per second USB Media Host and 7.1 channels with Dolby Digital Plus & TrueHD & dts-HD. I have yet to have a chance to explore all the options that this system offers. I can tell you it gives you some of the finest picture quality around. At the price of 165.00 you cannot go wrong with this blu-ray player. So if you have yet to jump into blu-ray I would give this system some serious consideration. The LG 370 gets a strong 4 out of 5.
