![]() 1. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Release: November 10, 2009 (PS3,360, PC) This game is the cause of multiple games being pushed back to early 2010 release. Games that decided the would benefit from not competing with MW2 are Red Steal 2, Bioshock 2, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction. This game is a my top choice for a must have. Action includes custom kill streaks, throwing knives, and stunning graphics. Put this request at the top of your list. |
2. Halo 3: ODST Release: September 22, 2009 (360) This is not what you’ve heard about just being a repeat of Halo 3. You are in the shoes of an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. The game starts with you playing The Rookie, you’ll end up playing as different members of the ODST squad. Finding objects in the overworld city of New Mombasa will flash back to the events that put them there, changing your role accordingly. With changing gameplay aspects, each of these missions are about 30-40 minutes in length. ODST feels fresher due to it’s almost Metroid-like structure. |
![]() 3. Assassin’s Creed 2 Release: November 17, 2009 (PS3,360, PC) Ubisoft must be confident they didn’t delay this game due to MW2. It is vastly improved and non-repetitive as the first could sometimes become. You play as the character Ezio Auditore de Firenze, whom is related to the first game’s character Altair. The story develops with Ezio becoming involved in the war between The Assassin’s and the Templar in Renaissance Italy, Circa 1476. This game will be huge, and a ton of fun for Creed fans. |
